Inter-Commission Meeting Reviews Diocesan Activities and Sets Roadmap for the Coming Months
Jnananilaya, 12 August 2026: An Inter-Commission Meeting of the Diocese was held at Jnananilaya on 12 August 2026 to review the activities and functioning of various diocesan departments and to chart a roadmap for the coming months.
The meeting was presided over by Most Rev. James Patteril, Bishop of the Diocese, with Rev. Fr. Mani Veluthedathuparambil, Commission Coordinator, coordinating the proceedings.
Representatives of the various commissions and departments presented a review of their ongoing activities, achievements, challenges, and areas requiring further attention. The discussions focused on strengthening coordination among the different departments and ensuring more effective implementation of the pastoral and developmental initiatives of the Diocese.
A roadmap for the next phase of activities, extending through December 2026, was also discussed and outlined. The meeting emphasized collaborative planning, timely execution of programmes, and greater coordination among the diocesan commissions to achieve the pastoral priorities of the Diocese.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to work together towards the effective implementation of the planned initiatives and the overall mission of the Diocese.
